I noticed that there wasn't as much traffic out on the roads this weekend. This was especially noticeable as I went through along I-80 south of Chicago, Illinois. Normally on a Saturday afternoon there are significant traffic slow-downs or even stop-and-go situations. I was able to sail right on through without even really slowing down. I guess people must have decided to stay home this weekend. The lighter traffic certainly makes for more pleasant driving. The $2.00 dollar per gallon gas prices might also have something to do with it !!!!
